You want a memento of the day that captures the energy, the excitement, the emotion, and most importantly – what your friends were getting up to while you while you weren’t with them.

I’ve called myself Holey Matrimony because my videos aren’t glossy music videos where everyone is smiling and laughing all the time. Real life is about getting your heel stuck in a cow grate, it’s about a table falling over because it wasn’t put up properly, it’s about the trying to cover up the tears while you listen to your dad’s speech. I like my videos to have soul, to have SOUND, and to feel real. Handmade like a stinky old blanket sort of real.

I work tirelessly on each of my videos, I don’t count the hours, and I try loads of different things until I get it right. You won’t notice me on the day but you will love being able to watch your day again and remember what people said and sounded like, what the light was like, what songs you played, what drinks you drank.
