BLACK AND WHITE PARTY VIDS

I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with a black and white party vid with some moody music and slo mo thrown in.

Reena and Stuart commissioned me to make a black and white vid for their wedding in the summer. I was skeptical. Isn’t black and white a bit cheesy?

I did find however that black and white can be a bit of a game changer. Shots that I might have rejected in colour reveal something new.

My latest couple, Zoe and Hugh, said they were only interested in colour, and so I delivered their long version in accordance. But I gave them the choice for the short version and they couldn’t choose between! Black and white is particularly useful for a winter wedding where the light is low and you can’t get the usual vibrancy in colour.
