Read MoreARGHHHHH the first dance! How much to prepare, should you take it seriously or should you treat it as a joke? Above is a great example of a brilliant first dance with minimal preparation (no offence guys!). But it does go to show that you can put on a great show without too much stress - the crowd at this one were absolutely loving it and Charlotte’s cheekiness and enjoyment really added a certain je ne sais quoi!
I have come across a few absolutely wonderful mothers at my weddings. I don’t know why I am always particularly impressed when they let their hair down. I guess they could easily let the stress get to them, or the emotion of seeing their kids fly the nest.
It’s a crazy feeling when the clock ticks over and you realise you’re getting married THIS YEAR!
Once you get over the anxiety, it’s fun to work towards something important, that’s been so far in the distance for so long. One day it will be in the rear-view mirror and you’ll miss these days.
